These two wind farms located in northern La Araucanía are comprised of 89 precast concrete towers, all with a hub height of 120 meters. The 3 MW turbines were supplied by Nordex Energy.
The concrete units were manufactured by ‘Consortium VSL-Windtechnic SpA’, in a factory specifically built for this purpose, allowing a production rate of over 2.5 towers per week.
WINDTECHNIC also supervised the pre-assembly of the sections and the installation of the internal elements of the upper sections of the towers.
