WINDTECHNIC, through its South African subsidiary THAYVONA CONCRETE SUPPLIERS (Pty) LTD, supplies 78 towers for the Coleskop, Phezukomoya and San Kraal wind farms.
After the design and certification awarded by TÜV NORD for the 124-meter-high tower for the Goldwind G165-5.6MW wind turbine, the towers were manufactured in collaboration with WBHO and Concrete Units, both local companies with experience in the sector. This required the construction of a new factory in Middelburg (Eastern Cape, South Africa), with a maximum production capacity of 2.5 towers per week, that will create around 400 jobs, most of them benefiting local communities.
In addition, the installation of the towers is once again carried out in collaboration with a local company, in this case, Renew Installations (Pty) Ltd.
