Last week, from 8th to 10th of April, 2025, Windtechnic Engineering was proud to take part in WindEurope Annual Event 2025, one of the leading international events in the wind energy sector, held in Copenhagen. The fair brought together top players from across the industry, offering a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore new innovations driving the future of wind power.
As specialists in concrete wind tower solutions, our presence at WindEurope 2025 aligned perfectly with our mission to offer efficient, scalable, and locally adaptable precast concrete solutions for renewable energy infrastructure. Over the course of three days, our team engaged in intensive meetings with existing and potential clients, industry partners, and suppliers, strengthening our network and identifying exciting new opportunities for collaboration.
We also participated as an active member of the Basque Energy Cluster, representing the innovation and expertise of our region on a global stage. This network continues to be a key pillar in advancing sustainable technologies and connecting like-minded companies within the energy transition space.
One of the most valuable moments during the event was delivering a technical presentation at ‘Innovations in turbine technology’ session titled ‘Concrete towers: supply challenges worldwide under their growing demand’, where we shared insights into the benefits of hybrid tower systems for tall wind turbines, and the potential growth of this type of structures in different markets around the globe. The session attracted significant attention and confirmed the industry’s growing interest in alternative tower technologies that reduce carbon footprint, increase local value, and improve long-term performance.
