In 2021, WINDTECHNIC inspected the concrete section of a tower located in the Jaulín wind farm, in the province of Zaragoza. This structure, which supports a G128-4.50 MW wind turbine, was manufactured by Norten PH in Alsasua (Navarre) and erected between 2008 and 2009.
The tower was inspected using a drone. WINDTECHNIC subsequently analyzed the detected defects and proceeded with the structural integrity validation.
This project is not the first in which WINDTECHNIC has conducted inspections of towers designed and/or manufactured by the company. Since 2016, WINDTECHNIC has been offering tower inspection services (including drone technology in recent years).
