Internal Development
WINDTECHNIC is working together with MS RDitech on the development of a disruptive configuration for a concrete wind tower. The solution is based on the use of Multi-Directional Variable Prestressing System and will help reduce tower and foundation stresses while promoting a more cost-effective, safe and environmentally friendly design.
The small-scale prototype testing is being conducted in collaboration with LADICIM (Laboratory of the Division of Materials Science and Engineering) of the University of Cantabria and other world-renowned laboratories.
The project has obtained support from the Spanish Center for Innovation and Technological Development (CDTI) and has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).
