Joint Venture Middelburg wins an award for the Koruson 1 Wind Farm in South Africa

WindTechnic Engineering is proud to announce that our work on the Koruson 1 Wind Farm in South Africa has been honored with an award in the Specialist Contractors or Suppliers category at the 23rd Best Projects Awards. This award, given by Construction World, celebrates the power of international collaboration in driving sustainable energy solutions.

Award-winning collaboration for a sustainable future

The Koruson 1 Wind Farm project is a joint venture between Windtechnic Engineering, WBHO Construction, and Concrete Units, being these last two South African companies with deep expertise in local construction. This project underscores the effectiveness of blending global and local expertise to deliver tailored solutions in the wind energy industry. Our team at WindTechnic Engineering contributed specialized knowledge in the design and construction of precast concrete towers, allowing for durable, efficient, and environmentally-friendly wind energy structures.

A milestone for all partners involved

Winning this award is a testament to the work and dedication that each partner brought to the project. From the initial planning phases to the completion of the concrete towers, the Koruson 1 Wind Farm has been a symbol of teamwork and a shared commitment to environmentally-friendly solutions in the wind energy sector. The project reflects the potential of precast concrete structures in meeting the demands of modern wind farms, especially in regions with unique local and technical requirements.

We are honored to have our project recognized alongside such remarkable achievements within the construction industry, and we are thankful to our partners, WBHO Construction, and Concrete Units for their collaboration and dedication. This joint venture is a prime example of what can be achieved when companies with complementary skills and a shared vision come together.
